Historical club of the France championship, it was founded in 1919 and experienced many changes of statutes and names.
The women’s team of Montpellier HSC was created in the 1980s under the name of Racing Club Paillade and joined the club structures in 2001. The team pennant participates in the French women’s football championship.
The Montpellier HSC women’s team plays their matches in different stages of the Montpellier agglomeration. Some important matches take place at the Mosson stadium.
